It goes from bad to worse, and she needs to be treated by a doctor. The doctor has a word for her problem: anorexia! If Jolien goes back to school, it wont work very well. But, thanks to the support of her classmates, teachers and many other people, Jolien is trying to pick up the threads of her life again. This story is based on true events. It is written specifically for Joliens peers. Ann De Wit (1961) has a degree in Germanic Philology. She works as a teacher, and as a Dutch English degree coordinator at a school in her neighborhood. For over 10 years, she had been guiding students with problems. She is married to Dirk and has three teenage daughters: Debbie, Lien and Jelke. The combination of her two favorite things, reading and working with young people, led her to write this book.
